  1. Booth/ table at a local fair, store (a local chain or a store like Wal- Mart), farmer’s market, lunch hour at school where you would sell fruit, egg rolls, enchiladas, donuts, cookies, baked goods, candy, brats, hot dogs, paint faces, sell a craft, etc…
  2. Contact the store manager, some stores work with a couple non-profits a month so contact at the beginning of the month. The store may donate items toward the event, i.e. brats or hot dogs.
  3. Advertise beforehand.
  4. Get friends and AFS volunteers to help.
  • Items needed:
    • items to sell/ do
    • Have a jar for donations
    • Small bills and coins for making change
    • AFS marketing materials
  • Time required: 30 minutes each day you sell
  • Amount you can expect to raise: $ 25 - $ 200

i did this with cub foods (a local gorcery store) they provided a ton of hot dogs, buns and pop. i sold them for two days for six hours each and ended up making $300 dollars!
