Changes

Key:  Additions   Deletions
For High Schools:

  1. Each contestant chooses a country or theme and a stall.
  2. The contestant decorates the stall using temporary adhesive and posters, print-outs, etc. to represent their theme in the most creative way possible.
  3. All high school students and faculty may vote by putting money into the piggy banks of their favorite stalls, and the contestant who raises the most money wins a prize (such as recognition in the school newpaper and a gift certificate, for example).
  • What you would need:
  • School's permission
  • Teacher advisor/coordinator
  • Metal "piggy banks" which can be locked and chained to stalls
  • Official rules such as no swear words, pornography, etc.
  • provide contestants with pockets for AFS brochures
  • If the idea of "restroom stalls" seems a bit uncomfortable, perhaps a variation of this idea could work for classroom doors, hallway posters or lockers.
